The School with a Difference

The Mission S.D.Sarvhitkari Vidya Mandir (Senior Secondary) Talwara – The Temple of learning- was established in April 1985 with the selfless, tireless, dedicated and devoted efforts of certain distinguished social workers and prominent educational thinkers in Shri Lakshmi Narayan Mandir Talwara under the patronage of Shri Sanatan Dharam Sabha Talwara and aegis of Sarvhitkari Educational Society Punjab (Regd.)-a state unit of Vidya Bharti-an All India Educational Organization. Vidya Mandir is built on a piece of land having an area of 2 acres. It has calm, clean and serene environment around its ‘magnificent’ and ‘majestic’ building- A model for others to emulate. The fundamental Aim and Objective of SD SARVHITKARI VIDYA MANDIR(SR.SEC.) is to impart quality education based on Bhartiya moral and ethical values to bring about all round and harmonious development of the personality of the students so that they may achieve ‘success and salvation’ and may serve our motherland efficiently and keep afloat the ‘Torch of Freedom’
